Me -       [ feeling pleased on completing dramatic scene]  Think I've nailed it. 
Editor -  No, no way, that clause needs more emotion... [and give that cat a bit of chicken, if it has to watch all that.]
 



Me -       OK Boss, [hours later after rewriting the scene] Is this better?
Editor - Wow! Hot stuff alright. If the cat has to sit through that, make it a bowlful of chicken.
