Defender of the Fatherless, the Widow, the Alien

“For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, thegreat God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien,giving him food and clothing. And you are to love those who are aliens, for youyourselves were aliens in Egypt” (Deuteronomy 10:17-19).

"And you are to love those who are aliens."

If we were to characterize all of history in all nations, itwould be, "Hate the aliens." God's directions are contrary to theworld's. On the whole, Christians do not hate aliens. They just ignore or avoidthem. That is saying that neither do Christians love aliens. Please prayfor an opportunity to love an alien.
