Halfway through October!
Hello, Write Edge readers! We’re halfway through October and firmly into fall now in the Northern Hemisphere (at least, in Central Illinois we are. :D) I have a full week of content lined up and ready to go for you, so read on to find out what’s coming up on the blog this week!
First, it’s this week’s installment on The Write Edge Writing Workshop. Today I wrote a creative nonfiction piece to share some recent events. Normally I don’t title my workshop exercises, but this week I felt compelled to do so. The title of the piece is, “Three things that unsettled me last week,” and you can find it now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop.
Last week on Instagram I shared my #bookreviewpreview of this week’s newest title to show up. On Wednesday I’ll share my thoughts on John Grisham’s latest book, The Exchange, which releases tomorrow. This book connects to one of the earliest hits Grisham had: The Firm. Does The Exchange measure up? Find out in the middle of the week on The Write Edge Bookshelf!
And, finally, it’s Instagram on Friday! At the end of the week, I’ll be visiting the incredible Litchfield Books for an event to highlight In the Heart of the Linden Wood. If you’re in the Myrtle Beach/Pawleys Island area this Friday, come say hello and take a selfie with me so I can share it on Instagram. I’ll also be sharing other bits and pieces from my writing/non-writing days.
Have a wonderful week, readers!
E.R.G.
P.S. Tell a loved one you care about them. Life is too short not to.
