With all the back bitinggoing on
It was hard to declare adecisive winner,
Like needles and darts thrown'cross a room,
A Friar’s roast, or aToastmaster's dinner.
Impossible to distinguish thetruth
From the lies and deceitsbeing bantered about.
One can only hope yourdetectors are functioning,
Sniffing the air 'til thetruth finds you out.
Pity the openness lost inyour youth
Can't carry its' weight asthe years pass you by.
Suffer its' loss with theloss of innocence
Grown to a beast as you covetyour pride.
Can you imagine a Worldwithout lies?
A World without people you'llmore likely see.
Let's be honest... Toourselves and each other;
Leaping the mass of humanity.
