New YouTube Video: Vanity Fair- Section 9

This new YouTube video uses humorous parody to expose the self-anointed “elite” class that has gained significant power in the United States in this 21st century.  They are working toward complete control by subverting the U.S. Constitution and traditions.  It’s not a “done deal” yet; they are facing resistance from political populists and their plans will ultimately come to naught, when Jesus Christ returns and establishes his kingdom on earth.  The video is drawn from the audiobook of the novel “Twilight of the Church Age,” with illustrations added for the video.

The colonial founders of the United States were aware of mankind’s inherent sin nature.  They saw the perils of greed and the pursuit of power.  They came to America from lands ruled by royalty and nobility (nobility in bloodline, but seldom in spirit).  In forming this new nation, the colonials created a government with checks and balances, seeking to avoid the problems of the Old World.  For example, they intended to replace the old tradition of an upper class ruling over the masses with a republic whose leaders would be democratically chosen by the citizens.  They also wanted leaders who would not be obligated to other nations.

The United States Constitution provides the following in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8.  “No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

Notwithstanding the Constitution, a de facto ruling class has developed in Washington DC, comprised of unelected bureaucrats and career politicians who remain in office for decades, sometimes into their 80’s and even their 90’s.  Many of them are enriched and owe fealty to their wealthy benefactors and nations (including some hostile to the United States).  These subjects are discussed further in the first chapters of “Lifeline, A Guide to Surviving the End Times,” by Mark C.
