Secret Service Agent Revelations

If you follow the JFK assassination you no doubt have picked up on a good deal of current press coverage in regard to an upcoming book which relates the discovery of a bullet purportedly resting on the backseat of the Presidential Limousine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. The bullet was reportedly picked up by an agent who did not report it or enter it into evidence but rather simply placed it on the President’s stretcher inside the emergency room.

This is not an entirely new revelation given that we have statements from a number of people in regard to “missing fragments or bullets” which where recovered from the limo either in Dallas or upon its return to Washington – but which were all “handed off to people” rather than being officially collected into evidence, hence breaking any chain of custody. The story is also clouded by the fact that the descriptions differ and none seem to be an exact match for the single whole bullet officially in evidence – CE399
