One of the questions I hear most often from readers when I’m giving a talk is whether I outline and if I know everything that’s going to happen before I start to write. This is always an easy question for me to answer because no, I don’t outline (not in the traditional way) and while I know the beginning and the end in terms of the mystery, the rest of the book comes on its own.
