Welcome, September (wait, it *is* September, right?)

Hello, Write Edge readers! No, I haven’t forgotten to look at my calendar. Where September usually starts to bring cooler temperatures in Central Illinois, we’re still looking at pretty fierce summer weather here. That’s what inspired my haiku for this first Monday of the month — check it out now on The Write Edge Writing Workshop!

September also means lots of great books, and in the middle of this week I’ll share with you my thoughts on one of the latest ones I’ve read. Tomorrow is the release date for The September House by Carissa Orlando. Find out what I thought of it on Wednesday on The Write Edge Bookshelf!

Finally, on Friday, it’s back to Instagram. I realize I missed posting this past week, but I’ll be sure to share some on Friday. Plus, on Saturday I’ll be at the Printer’s Row Lit Fest in Chicago, which means extra posts from that. Not only am I going to be selling copies of my award-winning book The Truth About Elves and In the Heart of the Linden Wood, I’m going to be able to check out book by hundreds of other authors.
