#VCLReadingChallenge no.9 – Loser Heroes

As popular as “alpha” heroes are, I always want more “loser” heroes. These are the male wallflowers, the smart ones in cultures that only value combat strength, the ones battling personal demons like addictions or mental health problems. They are the ones who find a different path to walk, who conquer different problems, who offer the heroine more peace and comfort than adventure and drama. They’re the ones with something to prove.
