I have been informed that it is an insult to crocodiles when we refer to our corrupt government officials as "buwaya." They are not rapacious as the human kind. When I saw this photo from the prewar magazine Renacimiento Filipino I wished that this becomes the red-plate official car model for corrupt officials. They can be heralded by wang-wang and use the bus lane on EDSA :)
