Diana T-C I hope this will work its way to Audible. I don't want to buy an app or listen to something on my phone. I use an iPod in Airplane mode for Audible listening. Can't put my phone in Airplane mode, don't want to fall asleep with my phone next to my head.

Looking at the site you can download it and put it on your iPod. Which means you don't have to buy another app, you don't even need an app at all as you'll use the iPod for it's first and sole function: playing audio files.

Logically it should stay OFF Audible if people don't want "an app you have to download" to listen to the audio they buy.

Diana T-C Thank you for the download information.
I don't use the Audible App to listen to audio books.
I'll give it a try and see if I can download to my computer.

Diana T-C I experimented for a few hours to see if I could get a Graphic Audio book purchased as an MP3 onto an iPod. No. And it didn't work well on an MP3 since I couldn't pause the book where I left off - and no fast forward or back feature. But, I see that there are Graphic Audio books at Audible, so hopefully this will be at Audible too and I can download into my iPod.

Mary Diana, I'm happy to hear that there is another iPod person left in this Spotify world! I love my ancient fly-wheel iPod, and it saved my iTunes when my previous desktop Mac finally crashed: it enabled me to save my whole music collection! It also saves my sanity on long flights.

Diana T-C I live in a rural area - streaming isn't for me. I need to download the books. Also, MP3 players need to be able to stop in the middle of a chapter, and start again where left off. No one can listen to an audio book all in one sitting. That's why iPods are so great.
I like the iPods with the screens that let me see the icon of the book, the title, etc.
I like to Fast Forward, or Go Back - can't do that with MP3 players.
