Scripture for the First Thursday in Advent

Romans 8:26 NIV

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Lord, we want to pray, but sometimes we don't have the words. We are  grateful that the Spirit intercedes for us and that You understand and  respond to the groans that words cannot express. In Jesus' name. Amen.
