It’s About the Guy with the Gun (and Will)
Everyone loves to see fighter jets at airshows and tanks at museums. We marvel at their power and the thundering fear they strike into the heart of the enemy…but what if I told you your admiration was displaced?
For those of you who don’t know, I am a GWOT veteran, a veteran of the Global War on Terror. My job was in the medical field, but my training started in the infantry. This is nothing unusual. All military personnel, no matter what their job, go through some Infantry training before taking on their regular job. Why? Because warfare isn’t won by machines, it is won buy the guy with the gun-a guy who has the will and morale to use said gun effectively. The machines are just either a giant psyopp or a tool used by the guy with the gun to make his job a little easier.
War always will be won by the guy with the gun, no exceptions. This is why Biden said you need a plane to take on the government; he was lying. He doesn’t want the public to know the power of the guy with the gun.
But I want you to know.
A guy with a gun and the will to use said gun is the most powerful force, aside from God, on the face of the earth.
If you doubt me look at what happened in Afghanistan. Those people didn’t have high tech planes, tanks, or any awesome weaponry, but they had two things: guns and will. And with those things alone, they drove the planes away.
How does this translate into your everyday life? 1.) Never surrender your weapons, no matter how many shootings they stage (yes, you heard me right). 2.) For those of use not into firearms, appreciate the power of will. Will is defined as “The mental faculty by which one deliberately chooses or decides upon a course of action.” In other words, when you decide something, follow through on it. It may sometimes take longer to reach your goals, but with proper “will” you can and will win any battle you pursue. No pun intended.
And, if you’re not into guns, select your weapon. What is it? Is it the pen? Your voice? Your art? Your intellect? Believe or not, everyone has one. Everyone has something with which to fight evil.
President Brandon is wrong. You don’t need a plane to fight the government (or evil, but I repeat myself) 😊. You need will, talent and simple old-fashioned weaponry. Never forget it.
