According to the About Us page…

We are deeply and fundamentally opposed to gimmicks or get-rich-quick schemes; this is about real career training for real career success.

From the founder and course instructor Nicki Krawczyk’s bio…

Nicki Krawczyk has been a copywriter for more than 20 years: freelance, on-staff, for agencies, for in-house teams, for herself as a full-time freelancer making six figures, and as a Copy Director. She’s worked for and with clients including TripAdvisor, Marshalls, Hasbro, Keurig, adidas and, yes, even Harlequin Romance novels.

Since 2012, she’s helped more than 9,000 students take control of their careers, their incomes, and their lifestyles through Filthy Rich Writer and its signature course, the Comprehensive Copywriting Academy.

I mainly found praise for CCA, Filthy Rich Writer, and Nicki during my research…

There were a few online comments that gave me pause.

The first is that some people felt the refund policy was unfair…

And that negativity apparently gets people kicked out of the FB group…

Though another member explains why this might not be bad (and I agree)…

Another comment that stood out claimed speaking negatively about the program is not allowed…

According to the Filthy Rich Writer’s TOS, there is indeed a non-disparagement clause…

The Parties agree and accept that the only venue for resolving such a dispute shall be in the venue set forth herein below. The Parties agree that they neither will engage in any conduct or communications with a third party, public or private, designed to disparage the other.

Neither Client nor any of Client’s associates, employees or affiliates will directly or indirectly, in any capacity or manner, make, express, transmit speak, write, verbalize or otherwise communicate in any way (or cause, further, assist, solicit, encourage, support or participate in any of the foregoing), any remark, comment, message, information, declaration, communication or other statement of any kind, whether verbal, in writing, electronically transferred or otherwise, that might reasonably be construed to be derogatory or critical of, or negative toward, the Company or any of its programs, members, owner directors, officers, affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents or representatives.

To summarize, posting or speaking negatively about Filthy Rich Writer, Comprehensive Copywriting Academy, or Nicki Krawczyk is against its terms of service.

To me, this is a weird concept, but it does align with praise for Filthy Rich Writer’s no-bullshit approach to ensuring its community remains positive.

It looks like those who agree with this style speak highly of Filthy Rich Writer while those who don’t have more critical things to say.

You could call this polorazing, which happens to be commonly found in good copy.

We DO NOT offer refunds on our Comprehensive Copywriting Academy program.

But there is a conditional 30-day guarantee.

Here are the requirements to be eligible…

Watch all videos in the Foundations Module,

Provide all fully completed action sheets from the Foundations Module,

Provide the link to their active portfolio website,

Provide the completed Client Tracking Sheet from the Find Small Business Clients bonus course or the Client Pitching Tracking Sheet from the Client Pitching Masterclass with at least 25 companies and all associated details listed

Provide the 25 emails sent to these companies and any applicable one- and two-week follow-up emails
