Hello 2023!
Hello friends!
It has been some time since my last blog as life happened. Indeed, since my last post in 2021, a lot of life has happened not just for myself but for all of us. One of the major life changing events being of course, the COVID pandemic which brought the world to a frightening stand still. The isolation, loss of life, vaccinations, mask wearing and restriction on movement left a severe impact on social life. Although, many of the restrictions have since been lifted, COVID continues to be felt worldwide.
Another major life event that has taken place in my life is finding love again. I was blessed to get remarried on August 7, 2022 to my amazing partner, now husband. The #beckeverafter2022 was a magical and momentous occasion celebrating love and family despite the depression of COVID. Along with a busy work life as an educator, I have nurtured my creativity in whatever small moments I could. 
Fortunately, I have exciting news to share! My first poetry book, “Love, Marriage, Divorce and Growth” has an audiobook coming out soon on Audible! For those who enjoy listening to audiobooks on long walks, drives or in your leisure time, now you will be able to listen to the narrated poems and continue to enjoy the journey in audio format!
