K.S. Trenten Thank you again for recording this. I really enjoyed the insights you and Penny offered. Not to mention I'm thrilled there's going to be more of Aud Torvington!

Aud is one of my favorite characters in literature. She's so beautifully balanced in bringing death and embracing life with a complex morality which makes perfect sense. She's fascinating to watch as she thaws in the warmth of Julia's love in The Blue Place, only to cope with the aftermath in Stay. Always felt almost like the classic humbling where the ace character meets someone who refuses to be impressed with them, sparking off a romance. I'm curious to see what Aud is doing now, how she and Kick are doing, if they're still together or not. Aud's complex morality was hard for Julia to deal with. Kick looked it straight in the eye and face it with snark, but I wondered if there might not be pitfalls in the future.
