Three years of Photoshop

Today marks the three year anniversary of taking that first Photoshop course.

I always know the exact date because it’s when my bill for the subscription comes due.

It turned out to be an excellent investment, especially in terms of flexibility. I used to have to decide on book titles months in advance. I also used to spend a lot of time digging through stock photo sites to find a decent image to use for a Facebook ad. Now I just make my own, and if it doesn’t work, I make a new one.

Though now whenever I travel, I always take pictures with an eye toward including it in a book cover somehow.
