Book Review: Tour of Bones

I highly recommend Tour of Bones by Denise Inge. It’s a beautiful book about a woman coming to terms with her own mortality. More than that though, it’s a tour through four bone chapels, ossuaries where the dead are on reverent display for the living. I read this shortly after my own ancestor pilgrimage to four ossuaries – Czerna, Sedlec, Brno, and Cologne — and Inge likewise visits two of the same ones that I had chosen.
