My Blog: Authors & Readers only.
Okay, this might seem like an odd post. Maybe it’s me, but could the two dog breeders explain why they need to follow my blog.
When I set up this blog it was to share my journey to become a published author. I expected I might be lucky to have a few newbie writers to follow my blog, be interested in my journey. After having my books published I hoped some of my readers might started following as well.
The blogs I follow and comment on are ones I’m interested in, and take the time to read whenever time allows me. The key here is I’m interested in because they are readers or writing blogs or blogs linked to my other interests.
These days it seems your blogs are followed by most people offering you digital information or services linked to the internet, marketing or promoting, if you are an author.
But dog breeders are a new thing. To start with what is it about my blog that makes a breeder of bulldogs want to be a follow it?
Is there something I’m missing?
And then there’s another dog breeders who seems to have a wide series of names, and he is desperate to follow this blog, too. Has he read all my books and can’t wait for the next Granny Wenlock novel to arrive hot off the press?
Dream on Paula, you know that’s not the reason. These followers aren’t interested in reading your posts. There are some other forces at work here. Maybe they can explain and enlighten me.
