Heyyy, I just realized that I very slightly missed my own 10-year anniversary in the Sherlock fandom!! I blame Benedict entirely; it was his performance in that Star Trek movie that got me. His talent just took my breath away, even though I wasn’t at all invested in the rest of the movie; I just couldn’t take my eyes off him in every scene he was in. I left thinking I needed to discover who that guy was and find everything else he’d ever done, which led me quite immediately to Sherlock. I thought that I was done with fandom ever since JKR had wrecked HP for me in so many ways. I’d been out for years. But by the time I got to THOB, I felt the pull again: to write these characters, to live and breathe their thoughts and lives and stories. On June 15th, 2013, I posted the first chapter of Resurrection, my first story of - as of right now - ninety-one in this fandom! I’m working on #92 as we speak and I’ve written over 2.4 million words of fic in this fandom so far! Thanks to everyone who found me again, who knew me from the HP world and led me into this new universe, and to everyone who’s discovered me and my stories and my take on these characters since then. You’re all amazing and I love you and love being a part of this universe. <333333333333333333333
