I have to admit, it's a little bit of an ego boost when you see your name mentioned in a Forbes article about Patrick Rothfuss, George R.R. Martin, and Scott Lynch. Sure, the shout-out is mainly because I write the full series before publishing the first book, but I'll take any mention I can get, especially when it's in such a mainstream place, and next to such heavy hitting authors.

You deserve the recognition! Like scads of others, I've been left hanging by the first two authors in that citation and let me tell you it is NOT fun! Whereas, the fact that you are so dedicated and care so much about your characters, their story arc and your readers to complete the stories beforehand, is just another wonderful reason to happily recommend your books, which I do often! I have just, this weekend, suggested your books on two different threads on Reddit where folks are looking for their next great read!

I agree with the previous poster that the other authors mentioned too often leave their readers hanging. You do not. You and your team deserve your recognition. Also, it does take a great support team to achieve real success in this business. It isn’t just about the writing. I like how you acknowledge the hard work others do, like your wife. I was lucky to have a sister who provided serious hands on support. It can make all the difference.
