Choose

Joshua 24:15
15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Let me give you a choice. You can live your life without worrying about the sin you are committing, not think about tomorrow, have fun, not worry about anything but the here and now. The other choice is that you can serve God, live a holy life, stay away from sin, and follow the teachings of Christ. One choice will seem fun. For a season, you will be the life of the party. You will have friends and people cheering you on. But when you die, you will be cast into eternal torment. The other life, you will be mocked. People will hate you. You will face attacks by the enemy. However, when you die, you will walk into heaven. This second choice may not be glamorous. It may not make you everyone’s favorite. It will give you peace. This choice will show you a love that nothing compares to. So make your choice. Do you want to be the life of the party and split hell wide open, or would you rather live a life for God and have his eternal reward. I choose to serve God, I pray you do as well.
