Editing Masterclass

MARION (that’s ye olde ACT Writers’ Centre) have announced the opening rounds of their masterclass series, and I’ll be teaching two online editing sessions in July this year. That is, these are two-part masterclasses, so you front up two Saturdays in a row, for 3 hour sessions.

* MASTERCLASS 1: Pitch to Publisher with Julia Carlomagno | 1 + 8 July
* MASTERCLASS 2: Editing with Angela Slatter | 22 + 29 July
* MASTERCLASS 3: Grant-writing with Melinda Smith | 12 + 19 August

MARION’s Masterclass series aims to provide a toolkit of essential know-how for navigating the Australian publishing industry. Three crucial aspects of creating a sustainable writing career include writing grants, the skills to pitch to publishers, and editing.

Each masterclass will run in 2 x 3 hour sessions over two Saturdays from 1PM to 4PM.
