My Summer to Do List

Good morning, friends!

As most of you know, I’m a teacher. This week schoolhas let out, so I thought I would give you a list of 10 things I am looking forwardto doing this summer:

1.     Spendingmore time with my family. Always a plus.

2.     Traveling.I don’t do this enough. But I do hope to leave my state a time or two, althoughI have no set plans.

3.     Gettingoutside and taking advantage of sunny days. I especially hope to go swimming atthe beach a few times.

4.     Readsome longer books. I tend to read short books during the school year because Ihave limited time. I hope to have more time to devote to it this year.

5.     Write.Well, of course. But this time, I hope to be able to do it in a more relaxedfashion. And I don’t want to write on weekends.

6.     Goto daily Mass. I never get to do this during the school year. But I want to getto church more and spend quiet time with God.

7.     Organizemy house. Yeah, I say this every year. Still, one can dream.

8.     Planmy daughter’s wedding. Yippee!

9.     Goon a writing retreat. I haven’t done this in a couple of years, so hopefullythis year will be my year!

10.  Begrateful for every day God gives me, no matter what it brings, rain or shine.

I would love to hear about your summer plans! One winner will win a book of choice, provided I still have a copy!
