WOOOT!!! Really good words, pretty dark subject

So today I’m writing Chapter Five… and while I can’t say the words flew, I got all of them, and I’m very happy with the way they turned out.

(At least in first draft. I’m always subject to a rethink when I do the revision.)

The story moved through a dark part of my hero’s past today, and her response to it. I know what’s going to be starting up around chapter Eight, (outlining, you know) and I know that today’s words are building toward that.

So I’m writing some cool stuff while writing toward some EXCITING stuff… and that makes for a great work day.

11,236 words total in this book now, and 1227 for the day, which makes me really happy.
