With all the anti-gay hate happening all over the world, including here in the US in certain places like Florida, it's nice to see some progress happening. 

An openly gay man was just elected President of Latvia by Latvian parliament. Edgars Rinkevics will be the first openly gay President in any of the Baltic nations.
