Question 205: Graduation advice from the Gospel of Oneness

Question 205: What advice does the Gospel of Oneness have for the high school and college graduating classes?

You are naturally concerned about your future careers and spouses. You are becoming more responsible for yourself. You have to pay your bills, take care of your health, and consider if you want to get married sooner or later. Whatever you choose for yourself, the gospel of oneness would advise you to build up your consciousness of the oneness of all life. Think of it as your bank account that can only grow to unlimited proportions.

If you keep this in mind by meditating every day on your connection to the universal spirit of love, joy, and wisdom, by the time you reach your senior years you will be ready to graduate to the ascended realms and be free forever in your eternal spiritual identity.

You can build up your spiritual bank account not only by meditating upon it, but also by spreading joy and love in hearts everywhere you go. At the same time, you will need to overcome your ego problems and psychological wounds and traumas. We all have flaws to work out. Nobody has their life perfectly together, yet we don’t have to be perfect, we only have to care enough to keep on evolving.

Your life path is before you. This advice upon graduating from an institutional school is to remind you that you can get through the “School of hard knocks” by deliberately choosing to remember everyday who you are. You are not a separate or lonely person in the sea of life. You are an expression of the universal, eternal Spirit of life and love. No matter what lessons you still have to learn, stay faithful to your true Self.
