Rhododendrons in flower and a bit about the next book

Late May has arrived and the rhododendrons are in flower, so here are a few pictures of them. Mrs James planted this shrub in front of our kitchen window when it was a very small plant in 2002, and it gets bigger and better every year.

In other news, today I wrote “THE END” on, er, the end of my eleventh full-length novel. If you are one of my wonderful readers, then I can let you know that The Repulse Chronicles, Book Six: Operation Repulse now exists somewhere other than just inside my head. Of course, that was the easy bit. Now comes structural editing, content editing, line editing, and proofreading. Lots and lots of it. My next job is to decide the publication date, create the cover and set up the pre-order. More blogposts on that will follow, so stay tuned. In the meantime, here are the rhododendrons.
