THE ASCENSION*

The eleven disciples wentto Galilee,
to the mountain to which Jesus had ordered them.
When they saw him, they worshiped, but theydoubted.
Then Jesus approached and said to them,
“All power in heaven and on earth has been givento me.
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I have commandedyou.
And behold, I am with you always, until the end ofthe age.”
