Review The Roast Oracle Deck:
As for the cards themselves, I was concerned that I might be too old to enjoy the ideas that are VERY based in the present tense of social media and popular culture social/political parlance. There is nothing of a prediction-style messaging happening here. It’s all here-and-now. The only instructions are to shuffle and ask “What do I need to know right now?” and pull a single card, so there are no deep layout diagrams or other guidelines. This free reign might feel really nice to experienced card readers, many of whom tend to ditch the book and jump right in with their intuition or create their own spreads, but for a beginner, I’m on the fence as to how these would feel. ~Samantha
