News and Updates
Whew! It’s been a crazy few weeks between revamping my website, planning social media posts for June, prepping THREE releases, and did I mention I’m writing TWO books at once? On top of that, I decided to start a second Instagram page. Many of you follow me on my main page m.j.padgett where you can find all the updates and news for my books… but things were getting lost in the noise. Namely, my clean ya and adult romance and romcoms. They just didn’t seem to fit in with the followers on that account, so I gave them their own page! If you also like my romance books, you can now follow me on m.j.padgett_romance as well!
Most of my backlist is back wide by popular demand, but a few things are still hanging out in Kindle Unlimited. As soon as they release from the required exclusivity time, they will also go wide! The only series not currently ready to go is the Projects of Life trilogy. I’m hoping to get some new covers for them before going wide to save myself a lot of updating work later, but I hope to have them ready soon!
I really appreciate your patience during this transition period, but I think things are almost set. In fantasy and sci-fi news, Journey Down releases NEXT MONTH, and I can’t believe it. Then The Wild releases in August! I’m so excited about these books, and I can’t wait to get them into reader’s hands. The Wild also has loads of surprises that I will announce during June.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably notice that my posts are usually themed to what I’m working on. Recently, they have been very sci-fi in nature, but beginning in June, the characters of The Wild will take over, and you’ll see some fun new things I haven’t done before (like characters doing guest blogs, scavenger hunts, and so much more!)
On the romance side of things, I’m writing a clean adult romcom all about getting to know someone you thought you knew, a lot better, and as usual, it is full of fun surprises and antics I hope will make you laugh out loud.
