Happy Saturday and glad you made it outta bed! I admit, I slept in a little this morning, heck yeah! No school, who wouldn’t and I have to thank my kiddos for letting mommy sleep in. No shaking me saying “Momma, momma, can I play on the xbox?” or “Momma, momma, sissy hit me!” Oh thank you my beautiful, sweet, temorarily peace treaty keeping children! So now that I’ve had a little extra ZZZ’s and am in a happy mood, lets find some wonderful blogs for today’s FAV 5, shall we?

2. #70 Anglers Rest- http://anglersrest.blogspot.com/ I just had to share this blog and Julie’s post about her grandmother who passed away 17 years ago and meant so much to her ,she wanted to share a few photos. Plus she has a quilt background! Lovely photos, I love my Grandma lots- read day 19- Quilts of many colors.
3. #253 My Distant Husband- http://mydistanthusband.blogspot.com/ Danne is an amazing woman, her hubby is in another state and she is living with their three kiddos in another. He took a job to take care of his family and even though they are miles apart, this wonderful couple is making it work. Awesome! I have had my hubby away from me from time to time (18 months Iraq- that sucked:0) and 6-8weeks at a time one year for a job) so I know what it’s like. In fact my dear hubby leaves me again for 8 weeks of military training…hoo rah!? Ok I’ll cheer…NOT! :0) Well I just had to share Danne’s post because it’s a cute tale of two kids and their little boats….go read, cute!
4. # 273- Journey Deeper in this journey called life- http://mrstoriecooper.blogspot.com/ Poor Tori was sick for a week and fell behind on her blogging for the Challenge. She is beating herself up, but will truck on, no matter what. She is at post f. Come and cheer her on and give her some comments of encouragment! Glad your feeling better Tori! Don’t forget to like her FB page as well!
5.#278- Geek Twins- http://www.thegeektwins.com/2012/04/one-scene-that-proved-noone-cared-about.html Wow! I learned something interesting about Superman IV! You know the one between Superman and Nuclear Man. The scene where the bad guy takes Lucy (Mariel Hemingway) and flys with her into outerspace. Come read this and get 8 reasons why this Scene proved nobody cared… Wow! This was good!
Bonus- #412 Groundwire- http://edensguest.blogspot.com/ Kimberlee is a very entertaining gal, and pretty! For her S topic she did speed reading and you can test how fast you read. What I liked was if you scroll down a little, was her Q post. Quilt. I di that for my Q post and found Kimberlee’s post so entertaining! She started a quilt and….well go read for yourself, its good!
