Alina Vandenberghe is the co-founder of Chili Piper.

That’s a big enterprise SaaS company that helps sales teams book meetings and close deals.

Alina is from Romania and has been building businesses since high school. She moved to the USA in her early 20’s and apparently “Steve Jobs helped launch her career.”

(I googled around and the highest evaluation I found for the company was $625 million in 2021.)

In a recent interview, Alina reveals how she found Chili Piper’s first three customers back in 2016…

At the time, you’d go on Eventbright and see when there were meetups with salespeople. I would go, talk to salespeople, tell them about the thing we’re building and ask them if they were interested to try.
