That’s the release date. It’s my birthday, so I figure it will bring some good luck. I’ve also got a few other things in my life that I expect to culminate around that date, so I may as well throw everything into the mix. Expect the cover in June. Here are the chapter titles. H Have you looked into traditional publishing/tried getting an agent? TBH I like your works more than Tom Mead's, and I'm surprised he was traditionally published while you were only self published since yours feel higher quality.

James Scott I haven't for a few reasons. Mostly, it takes all my effort to write a book. The grind of getting an agent and waiting for manuscript requests sounds unbearable to me. I just want to write. That's a poor excuse (mostly because that's it takes more to become a successful author), but I'm sticking to it. Certainly, if opportunities arose, I might take them, but I'm focused on getting books written and into the hands of readers.

I know this is a boring answer, but Tom's incredible success can only be good for other impossible-crime writers. If even one reader is turned on to impossible crimes, that's a win for the community. And Tom hustles at the author gig. He does a ton of promotion and he goes to different bookstores and best of all, he's ambitious. I'm pretty anti-social. Going to a bookstore signing sounds like a nightmare. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed my books.

H Yeah, I don't disagree it's a good thing that Tom is successful for us mystery fans. I just wish more were in the traditional sphere, since it would let more of these books read larger audiences and pave the way for future mystery writers too.

Anyway, regardless, good luck with the future works.
