Jesus’ Patience for Us Is an Example – 1 Timothy 1:16

Are you an example of a Christ-follower?

“But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.” 1 Timothy 1:16

Paul says he received mercy so that Jesus’ patience would be shown to others. Don’t sense any pressure to be an example. The patience Christ has given us is an example to others of what he will do for them.
