March's Writing Progress

A day early for once, just because... I added about 8,500 words to Command Authority this month, so it now stands at 155,000 words. I'm closing in on the end (I know I've been saying that for the last six months...)

I recorded some videos of readings from various works -

The Long Way Round, one of the short stories in Racing the Storm and Other Stories (12 minutes)

The Regrettable Events of St Augustine's Eve, a story written in response to not one, but two, writing prompts. Both involved writing a letter, which was what inspired me to combine them. (5 minutes 25 seconds)

Greatcroft by J M Pemberton. Most of chapter 1 of this historical novel written by my late mother. (8 minutes 9 seconds)

Now that I'm living somewhere with much more space than I used to have, I have more freedom over the position of the camera and lights. And now that I don't have trains going past the window at all hours of the day and night, I have a better chance of doing the whole reading without needing any edits...
