Francesca Forrest I think it part because it is so very, very alive. Of course things are dying there all the time, just like anywhere, but SO MUCH is also alive, and coming alive. Just spilling over with life. And even though I know there is hardship and suffering there--hell, I shared a meal with a street kid--there's also, for me, this feeling that nature is just showering goodness on you: fruits of all kinds, fish--you are fed and cared for. I feel wrapped in an embrace there.
