 The aliens warned us of a path we should never take among the stars, a course utterly inhuman where we could not survive.But we were humans and took it as a challenge. We pointed our ship toward the blue sphere that dominated the sky. None had found a path around it. None who went in came back out.Three of us went in.We found no terror but rather a place of surreal exquisiteness never imagined
