WHERE DO THOSE IDEAS COME FROM?

I'm often asked where ideas come from. This is how it happens sometimes. At a stoplight today, my dad points to a cargo truck and says, "they sponsor a race car."I jokingly said, "if they'd sponsor me, I'd write a book series about a truck driver who solves crimes on his travels."We laughed.Now, I kinda want to write that story.
