Not All Problems are Equally Important

Leading with Honor is grateful for the excellent work that our friend and colleague, Lt Col (Ret) Rob “Cujo” Teschner, is doing in the field of leadership development.

This week’s reflection is drawn from his experience teaching inside the Air Force today and is a very important one for those of you who are interested in improving the way you provide feedback.

Friday Roll Call: 9 Dec 22.mp4 from Robert Teschner on Vimeo.

His emphasis is that we never stop learning leadership. And while it’s easy to look backwards and sometimes regret (this won’t serve us), perhaps some (all) of the mistakes we’ve made along the way are there to equip us to be able to:

be more empathetic to others;show a little more grace to our teammates when they stumble;be more measured in how we respond to things that aren’t going well; andlead better as a result.
