Hi Francine;

Will pray for rain in California. 🙏

On another topic. if I may... Her Mother's Hope . I loved the book...both of them, (Her Daughter's Dream) , but it came as a tragic shock, to go from rooting for Marta, in the first part of the first book, to rooting for Hildemara to leave that woman and not look back, as Marta left her bitter, loveless father behind.

The first time I read Her Mother's Hope, I wrote my own fan fiction ending for the conclusion of the first book; where Hildemara leaves her mother's home, goes back to nursing school and never writes or calls Marta Waltert again. I never finished the story because I couldn't figure out how I wanted to resolve (or not resolve ) it. In any case, the two novels were deeply compelling.
