Will you make anymore books for the wolf brother series

Dear Josiah,

Thanks for your question – but I’m afraid the answer is no, I’ve no current intention of writing more books in the Wolf Brother series.  (Though I’m not sure whether you know that I recently wrote three further books, VIPER’S DAUGHTER, SKIN TAKER, and WOLF BANE.)  You see, I just knew when I finished the ninth book in the series, WOLF BANE, that this would be the final one.  Of course, I said the same thing years ago when I wrote Book 6, GHOST HUNTER – but this time it feels different.  I think this is because with the final three books I’ve given Torak, Renn and Wolf a good send-off – and I’ve also helped them deal with some of the emotional aftermath of what they went through in the previous six books.  In addition, I have developed Dark’s character quite a lot , and shown readers aspects of him which I knew he had, but which I didn’t have space for when we first met him  in GHOST HUNTER.  (I’m being careful to avoid spoilers here, in case you haven’t yet read the final trilogy!)  The last reason is that I’m really pleased with how WOLF BANE has turned out, and I wanted to end the series on a high note, rather than letting it trail off.  So for all these reasons, I’m afraid the ninth book really is the last one.

I hope that’s not too disappointing for you.  You can always re-read them; lots of reader do!  Thanks again for getting in touch.
