For many (many) months now, I’ve been in a work (and more work) phase on my new book LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER. I’m very excited about it and it’s almost done—but sometimes it’s when you’re almost at the finish line, when your legs finally say: “hey, go f-yourself.” So I was especially grateful today to be reminded that all these endless hours, in a lonely, make-believe world—do eventually amount to something real.
