Guess in 10 Animal Planet by Skillmatics – Language Learning Game Recommendation

Today’s language learning game recommendation is Guess in 10 Animal Planet by Skillmatics
The game is designed for 2-6 players but I typically use this in group classes with more players. The game is marketed for ages 6 and up. I have played this with students as young as four and they enjoy it too.
Here is how I play it with a group. I take a card and read two buzz words or clues. Then the students take turns asking questions. The group can ask a total of 10 questions to guess the animal on the card.
I also will designate a “leader” at times so students can work on leading a group. It is a sneaky way to work on public speaking and confidence.
The game directions say that it takes 20 minutes to finish. But, in a large group, you can just keep guessing since you aren’t looking for a winner.
This animal trivia game is great to work on vocabulary, asking questions, answering questions, problem solving, grammar, turn taking, working as a group, and creative thinking.
This makes a great speech therapy game (box is small for transport), ESL game, family game. You all know that I love to give a learning gift so I always have a few extras on hand to give as gifts. Get yours today!
Currently, the game costs $14.97 on Amazon.
