Having devoted most of our recent classes to non-religious approaches to the spiritual development of consciousness, we will now turn our attention to personal development. We do so by asking, "Why develop a personality we seek to transcend?"
It's a fair question. Seems we should just skip over the intrapersonal and jump to the transpersonal. But that would be like trying to learn algebra or calculus with little or no understanding of basic arithmetic.
In some ways, the unfolding of consciousness is like climbing a ladder. We must move upwards one rung at a time.
In this Sunday's "Wisdom of the Soul" class, we'll discuss the various forms of induction to a safe, relaxed alpha brainwave state, plus some ot the basics of visualization.
