The plain truth is—picking a favorite book I’ve written is a lot like picking a favorite child—it’s IMPOSSIBLE. Partly because I put so much thought and fun and tinkering with each character that they truly take on lives of their own.
And I lOVE that about being a writer! But, there are different parts to each book and their characters I lOVE so much!
So—I decided—since I was doing a ‘favorite’ collection—I’d tell you why I love the male HERO of each book. Are you ready? (Next collection I’ll tell you about the women:)

*I love, love, love Trey. How broken he is. How he believes he can pretty much do anything—except love Ava right.
Stone Family Haven
*I love Brooks. I love how his analytical mind makes him hiccup so much that he can’t fathom anyone believing he’s good enough just because he made a mistake.
Rule #1 Don’t Fall for Mr. Wrong
*I love Beau. I love how he sees the immaturity in this younger woman, but loves the way that immaturity makes him laugh and feel again.
The Redeemed Groom
I love Sloan. He has writer’s block and can’t get a song written, but when he hears of a girl —he doesn’t know—in distress, his gut is to follow her onto a greyhound bus. And he never regrets that decision.
The Midnight Groom
Ahh-Cameron Cruz is SO tortured, by losing the love of his life. I love how the only thing that takes him out of that torture is by trying to help someone else.
The Undercover Groom
Nick is tough as nails and prides himself, but he trusts some girl at the gas station who needs help.—That’s beautiful!
