I’m inclined to the last option there. I try to take a few deliberate minutes, to sit in my office in the depths of the night and Just Be. Whatever I am now, I won’t be again. On the other hand, what I am now, and what I’ve been every day since I was conceived, will go on with me in some form.

Anne Happy Birthday, my friend. We've never met, yet I feel as if you are my friend. During the day I listen to other books, but it's always the voice of Claire (or Davina) telling me the story one of your Outlander (or Lord John) books that comfort me when I go to bed. I think I'm up to the 11th round, but who's counting. By the time one finishes all the big and little books, the beginning feels new. Thank you
