Alien Conundrum...

A prominent speaker addressed a room full of Science-Fiction enthusiasts:

"Some say aliens secretly monitor all human activity. Some theories even say they have halted the application of deadly nuclear-grade weapons during moments that only they knew might have led to a global catastrophe. Some even say that aliens secretly help maintain the good-bad-ugly state of things on Earth, all in keeping with some 'master program'. Now, if the world we live in is actually a simulation or hologram, if it is indeed some quantum-digital programmable space, some "Maya" world… what, then, is the purpose behind coding aliens into it?"

Someone in the audience broke the silence by shouting, "They're not aliens, they're admins!"
