Drizzlecombe menhir 2

Top photo by Beckie Burr, who writes: Jupiter glowing bright in the night sky above the magical Drizzlecombe complex on Dartmoor. Also known as the ‘Bone Stone’, it’s one of the most uniquely shaped menhirs I’ve ever visited, appearing to transform with every step you take around it. A splendid 4.2 metre tall stone standing up and across the downhill end of the Drizzlecombe stone row C, as a blocker. The stone row runs away uphill towards the northeast from it to its cairn at the top.
