Do me a favor!
I know we are all slammed during the holiday season, so here's an important self-care suggestion.
Take a nice long deep breath in. Hold it for a few seconds and slowly exhale. A couple more would be great. Just settle into the moment. This moment. Not the next one or three back.
Please do this for yourself at least five times today. Your central nervous system will thank you for it.
You have a lot going on in your life, so remember what they tell you in the safety briefing on an airplane. Put the mask on yourself first before helping others. Breathing intentionally is a beautiful way to ground and calm down. Even if it's for a minute, then tackle all the 10000 things on your to-do list and
take care of the people who rely on you.
Pinky promise you'll keep doing this?

My First Act
“In my day,” a woman’s career options were a bit limited.
Wife and mother (in tandem), nurse, airline stewardess, secretary, teacher.
I taught K-6 for several years before my husband’s job took us to a university town where teaching jobs were non-existent.
So, my option? Reinvention!
I was accepted into a health-related program, then taught it at the college level. That lead to college administration.
Now the Second Act!
Since I retired, I’ve published 15 sweet paranormal romances.
I am nothing if not persistent. How?
By just showing up and shining out!
